With a heart full of love, Jackie Faye Armstrong Norton, age 73, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, while surrounded by her family, in Slidell.

A week before her passing, Slidell, experienced a historic snow fall. Though she was too tired to venture outside, Jackie enjoyed watching her grandchildren build the largest snowman she had seen in quite a while. On the morning of her passing, sparrows gathered in the trees out back, singing loudly as if they were inviting her to join them.

She leaves behind her daughter Tiffany (Stan) Amerski, her son James Norton, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Her smile and laughter will be deeply missed but we take comfort in knowing she is now at rest, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

Though we will miss her dearly, let us keep her memory alive by cherishing the beautiful moments we shared. Until we meet again, may her spirit live on in our hearts.
