Jaime Leanne Jarrell Glover, 52, of Slidell, Louisiana, was born December 18,1972 and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She is the daughter of the late James "Jim" Jarrell of Bogalusa and the late Janet Leonie Hageni Jarrell of Slidell. She is preceded in death by her sister, Jaclyn Elizabeth Jarrell.

Jaime is survived by her husband of 27 years, William Christopher Glover born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and their three children, Cody James Glover, Caitlin Janette Glover Manning (Taylor), and Cayleigh Jade Gloverl as well as, her brother, Joshua Scott Jarrell (Maryanne) who are all native to Slidell, Louisiana. She lived in gratitude for her mother-in-law, Donna Mae Cheski Glover, and her childhood nanny, Ms. Oleander. Jaime also leaves behind a host of aunts, niece and nephews, cousins, and friends who will fondly remember her immensely big heart.

Jaime grew up in the Westchester Estates neighborhood where she spent summers as a member of the Lakeside Swim Club and the Gators swim team.  Through much of her youth she studied dance under her mother's instruction, who owned and operated Slidell's Academy of Dance studio. She attended Salmen High School, graduating in 1990 after shining as a member of the Spartanette dance team. Jaime was a good student that was highly social at school and in her community. She enjoyed living close to her extended family on Markham Dr. and spending time at her great-grandparents' home on Lake Pontchartrain down "Rat's Nest Road", as well as, in Bogalusa on her father's family property and farm.

After marrying, Jaime devoted her life to making a home and raising her own beautiful family. She wore her heart on her sleeve, loving big and with fierce loyalty. She closely stayed in contact with her loved ones, past and present, making phone calls to family and friends a part of her daily routine. She never missed an opportunity to let someone know just how valued and loved by her they were.  She enjoyed following current events, especially the local news. She was a life-long follower of the soap opera Days of Our Lives, which she watched cuddled up with her treasured box fan and family pets, Sydney, Puddles, and Mufasa. She loved rock-n-roll, hair bands, country music, the armed forces, veterans, Jesus and America too.

More than anything Jaime loved her husband, whom she often referred to as her "ride or die" or her "rock", and their three babies who were her absolute pride and joy. Her life's greatest pleasure was watching them grow, being present for their achievements, and sharing in their special moments. She also relished in having the last word which was nearly always, "I love you muchy most". Nothing was more important than telling her children every day just how loved they are, so that they would know it deep in their core now and forever.

Jaime's family and friends give thanks for her steady presence, faith, and passion, as they cherish her memory.

A memorial funeral will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Slidell, Louisiana on Thursday, October 9th, 2025. Immediate family will gather first at 10:30am. Open visitation begins at 11am with mass to follow at noon. Repast will be held at the Glover residence immediately after services.
