James Alan Graham, 62, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital.
Jim was born April 27, 1963, in Oakland, California. After graduating from Slidell High School, Jim enlisted in the United States Navy where he served with distinction for over 20 years. After retiring from the service, Jim became a Surgical OR Nurse at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, after graduating from Anne Arundel Community College in Baltimore. Around 2021, he moved back to New Orleans, to work with Ochsner Foundation Hospital as a Supervisor-RN Operations Coord-OR/Surgery, Surg & Recovery Svcs SOSH. Jim completed his BSN degree from Chamberlain University April 2024. He was a proud RN, BSN & WTORN (World's Tallest OR Nurse) dedicated to providing exemplary service to patients and staff alike.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, James A. Graham, and a nephew, Devon Tillman.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Graham; sister, Sandra Tillman (Ken); nephews Kyle Lovett and Connor Tillman as well as many other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
