James C. Moran Jr., 78, of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Gonzales, Louisiana.Jim, as he was known, was born March 3, 1948, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. In 1969 he married Sandra Rist.He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Moran.He is survived by two children, James C. Moran III, Jillian Marcotte; two grandchildren, Samantha Rigney, Ryleigh Moran; one great-grandchild, Carrigan Rigney; one brother, Milton Moran.Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Friday, September 11, 2026Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.Burial will be in Magee Cemetery in Pearl River, Louisiana.
