James N. Tauzin, age 80, of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025.

Known affectionately by close family and friends as "Jimmy" or "Jambo," James was a longtime resident of Lacombe and a devoted family man. He was retired from Southern Eagle Sales in Metairie, Louisiana, after many years of dedicated employment.

Throughout his younger years, James greatly enjoyed entertaining family and friends. He loved singing and playing the guitar, sharing music, laughter, and meaningful moments with those around him. Music was one of the things he enjoyed most and a special way he connected with the people he loved.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Tauzin, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Fontenot (Gary) and Michael Tauzin; and his grandchildren, Justin Tauzin (Perla) and Gregory Fontenot.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 12:00 P.M.

James will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
