Jeannine Gabrielle Marram, age 90 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Beloved mother of Mimi D. Cloud, Monique L. Florane, Raymond E. Marram, Brigitte M. Bellflower, Helene F. Parnell and Frederique J. McCourtney. Sister of the late Louis, Francois and Raymonde Benand. Also survived by 11 grandchildren; James L. Cloud, III, Falynn G. Florane, Hailey D. Florane, Cody G. P. Florane, Chase V. Powers, Lawrence A. Marram, Erica R. Kirk, Alexa G. Immenschuh, Lauren M. Willis, Gabriel L. McCourtney, Nicole J. Choat, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A native of Paris, France, a former resident of Brooklyn, N.Y., Houston and Pasadena, Tx., and retired in Slidell, La.

'We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but God calls us one by one and the chain will link again.'
