Jeffery "Scott" McDill, 52, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at his home. He was born February 8, 1972, in Louisville, Mississippi, to Sara and the late Franklin McDill.

Scott graduated from Louisville High School, class of 1990. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and loved his country. He was a Godly man who loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved fishing and hunting, and football. He and his wife, Christy, enjoyed doing puzzles and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Christy; his daughter, Tristen McDill (Wulf), three sons, Andrew McDill (Kenzie), Nicholas Strehle, and Steven Strehle Jr. and six grandchildren, Summer Rain, Addilyn Gail, Justin Troy, Toni Lea, Ozzy and Onyx. He is also survived by his mother, Sara; two brothers, Terry McDill, and Tim (Michelle) McDill, and a host of nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Franklin McDill, his sister, Vicky McDill, and his stepson, Caleb Hunt.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Murphy Creek Baptist Church Gym, 5420 Bond Road, Louisville, MS. 39339 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday September 21, 2024.
