Jerry E. Pearson, 87, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Slidell.

Jerry was born May 27, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, to Wiley and Gertrude Pearson.

At a young age, the family moved to Slidell. In 1958 he married Dorothy Wactor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Pearson; and four brothers, William W. Pearson, Charles R. Pearson, Richard W. Pearson, and Thomas S. Pearson.

Jerry is survived by two children, Ricky E. Pearson (Jeanne), Randy L. Pearson (Thea); four grandchildren, Bethany Pearson, Ricky Pearson II, Kevin Pearson, Lauren Pearson; five great-grandchildren, Jesse Pearson, Alice Pearson, Lexi Lee, Jared Pearson, Tianna Pearson, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
