John Joseph Pons III, age 75, passed away on Thursday September 12, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents John J. Pons Jr, and Mary Ann Pons.

John is survived by his wife Sybil L. Pons and his children Melissa Parker and James J. Pons Sr. His grandchildren; Kymberly Pons, Tiffany Mullins, James J. Pons Jr., Mathew Pons, and Hailey Pons as well as great grandchildren; David Thomas, Mila Murphy, and JJ Murphy. He is also survived by his siblings, Yvonne Gomez, Bonnie Chase, and Donna Dillon.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday September 27, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation at the funeral home on Friday after 9:00 A.M until service time.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
