Jon Rogers, 86, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Slidell.

Jon was born August 16, 1938, in Hazelhurst, Mississippi, to Virgil and Malia Rogers.  As a young child the family moved to New Orleans.  In 1961 he married Clara Lavite in New Orleans.  In 1972, the couple moved to Slidell.

Jon was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a Radar Supervisor for the FAA.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara Rogers; one son, Michael Rogers (Michelle); three grandchildren, Matthew Rogers, Madeline Rogers, Megan Rogers, and other relatives.
