Joseph John Froeba, age 80 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Son of the late Johann Hans Froeba and Michelina Licausi Froeba.

Brother of the late Paul Karl Froeba and the late Agnes Miecznikowski (Ray). Uncle of the late John Miecznikowski.

Also survived by his nephew, Raymond Miecznikowski, Jr., and 5 great nephews.

A native of New Orleans, a longtime former resident of St. Bernard and a resident of Slidell since Hurricane Katrina. He worked for Lou Con Inc. in St. Bernard for many years as a Pay Master.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Catholic Funeral Mass at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd., Slidell, LA. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation at the church on Tuesday after 9:30 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Memorial masses preferred, in lieu of flowers.
