Joycelyn C. Laudun, 91, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, surrounded by family at home in Slidell.

Joycelyn was born April 8, 1932, in Paulina, Louisiana, to ONeal and Elsie Cambre. In 1953 she married Malcolm P. Laudun and in 1964 the couple moved to Slidell. She was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and was a recipient of the St. Louis Medallion.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Malcolm Laudun; one son, Bryan Laudun; brothers, Melvin Cambre, Gerald Cambre, Jude Cambre; a sister, Beverly Townsend; and step-mother, Mabel Cambre.

Joycelyn is survived by four children, Keith Laudun (Denise), Gregory Laudun (Vickie), Jacqueline Gatica (Albert), Jeanne Huntington (Ralph); three brothers, Michael Cambre (Beth), Robert Cambre, Gary Cambre (Mary); sisters, Bernadette Pecararo (Joe), Kathleen Stoker; sister-in-laws, Marie Cambre Kinler, Linda Cambre; ten grandchildren, Christopher Laudun, Sara Binder (Matthew), Gregory Laudun Jr., Stephen Laudun (Amy), John Laudun (Erin), Matthew Laudun (Cassie), Stephanie Carney (Scott), Jennifer Cosper (Chris), Jason Huntington (Riley), Justin Huntington; fourteen great-grandchildren, Grace, Kai, Kinley, Jaden, Jackson, Ryker, Makayla, Ethan, Charlotte, Everett, Stella, Lola, Peyton, Ava.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 440 Westchester Blvd., Slidell, Louisiana.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by the Funeral Mass at noon.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
