Judith Elaine Lenz, 82, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Slidell.

Judy was born Judith Elaine Arthur in Wisconsin and later moved with her parents and younger sister to Cocoa Beach, Florida, where she would later meet her husband, Al, in 1963.  The two were married within a year and in 1977 moved to Slidell, Louisiana, with their two sons.  She is remembered for her radiant smile and an insatiable natural curiosity, a love of learning, reading, and organizing family vacations.  She worked at Stennis Space Center for 15 years and retired in early 2001 to relax and travel occasionally.  She will be missed dearly by all those who survive her.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and is survived by her husband of 59 years, Albert F. Lenz, her two sons Albert T. Lenz and Steven C. Lenz and wife Gillian, her two granddaughters Isabella and Holly, and her younger sister, Edith Russell.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 9:00am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
