Judy Marie Moore, of Slidell, LA, passed away on May 10, 2026, after a long hard-fought battle with COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. At the very end, Judy passed quickly and without pain.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Moore; her parents, Harlin and Sonia Adams; and her siblings, Gary, Linda, and Michelle.

She is survived by two children, Joshua & Alyssa Moore; her granddaughter, Reagan Moore; and sisters, Kathy, Dottie, and Deniese.

Judy had the biggest heart of any person you'd ever meet. Anyone that knew her, knew this to be a fact. She could be overly generous to a fault, but she didn't care. If someone took advantage of her generosity, she'd just shake it off and say, "they needed it more than me".  Judy was a School Bus Driver for many years; she loved that job and loved "Her Kids". Nothing would bring her more joy than when someone would randomly say, "Hey Mrs. Judy, remember me?". Then she would ask, "How you doing …", and they would proceed to tell her about their job, spouse, and families. It brought Judy great joy knowing she had a special impact on children's lives, that years later they would recognize her, and want to stop to say hello and share their lives with her.

Judy will be forever loved and eternally missed. A private family memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations in her name to the local animal shelter of your choice.
