Kathleen Rose Kreiter Oldham, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 83.  She was born in New Orleans on April 17,1940 to the late Thomas and Miriam Kreiter.  Kathleen was a 1957 graduate of John McDonough Senior High and attended L.S.U.  In 2004 she retired from the U.S.D.A. at Michoud. Kathleen was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberley A. Oldham, her parents and her beloved Grammy.  She is survived by her daughters Kathleen T. Oldham, Karon E. Oldham (Jackie) and devoted friend Patrick Brady.   Kathleen was a lifelong lover of animals and shared her life with many cherished pets.  She enjoyed listening to music and watching classic movies and television.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Greenbriar Community Care Center and Notre Dame Hospice for their care and compassion.  In accordance with her wishes, the burial will be private.  Kathleen will be missed by all who knew her.
