Kathryn "Kay" Ann Rohlinger, 90, of Slidell, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, in Slidell. Kay was born on April 8, 1933, in Denver, Colorado, to Kathryn and Daniel Malone. In 1959 she married Otto James Rohlinger in Denver. In 1973 the couple moved to Slidell.

Kay was retired from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Agency where she worked as a Loan Analyst. She loved playing Bridge and Majhong, and hoped that Heaven had no eggs, grits, or rice. She loved PJs Coffee and Shrimp from Southside Café.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Daniel Malone; her husband, Otto Rohlinger; sister, Rosemary Koranda; and a brother, Daniel Malone Jr.

Kay is survived by her children; Paul Rohlinger, Mark Rohlinger (Penny), Ann Barry (Augie), Leo Rohlinger (Lisa), Neil Rohlinger (Shannon); four grandchildren, Sydney Rohlinger, Jakob Rohlinger, Abigail Rohlinger, and Luke Rohlinger.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd Slidell.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
