Keith "Dave" D'Aunoy Jr., 56, a native of New Orleans, longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Ponchatoula, and a resident of Slidell, Louisiana, for the past three years, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Slidell.

Dave was a vibrant person, full of life and love for his family. Dave loved being on the water boating and fishing, he was a true Louisiana Sportsman.  By trade, Dave was an exceptionally talented large engine mechanic. His passion for mechanics began as a young boy taking things apart just to see how they work and grew into a successful career.

He was preceded in death by his father Keith D'Aunoy.

He is survived by his two children, Kellie D'Aunoy-Jones (Eric), Keith "Trey" D'Aunoy III; mother, Dot D'Aunoy; sister, Tracy Smith; three grandchildren, Zachary D'Aunoy-Jones, Jackson D'Aunoy-Jones, Carter D'Aunoy-Jones; niece, Alyssa Mittelstaedt (Korey); great-niece, Evangeline "Evie" Mittelstaedt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460 on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by the memorial service at 2:00pm
