Keith Galway, 71, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a resident of Slidell, Louisiana for the past 36 years, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, in Slidell.

Keith was a graduate of Nicholls High School in New Orleans and attended Tulane University.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran, 2nd Class Petty Officer; a 21-year retiree of the New Orleans Police Department, and a 20-year office staff employee of New Orleans Baton Rouge Steamship Pilots Association.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Galway Sr. and Shirley Wambsgans Galway.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Prinz Galway; two daughters, Melissa G. Carollo, Melanie G. Saladino (Ronnie); six grandchildren, Connor Carollo, Emma Saladino, Claire Carollo, Robert Saladino, Julia Saladino, Catherine Carollo; a brother, Lionel Galway (Susan); nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460 on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, followed by funeral services at 2:00pm.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
