Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Pommier, of Slidell, LA., a beloved father, brother, uncle, friend, and member of his community, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026.

He was born in New Iberia, Louisiana, on November 16, 1960, to his late mother, Susan Fitch Lancon; and his late fathers, Wilson Pommier and Roland Charles "RC" Lancon, Sr.

Kenny is survived by his children, Chauntelle Miller (Danny) and Kristie Williams (Joey); his brother, Roland "Ronnie" Lancon, Jr. (Karen); and his sister, Pamela Shepherd (Sal).

He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Pommier; and his brother, W. Jean Pommier.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, MacKenzie, Abigail, Kaleb, Joey, and Kallie; great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Emery; along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Kenny was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, where he could enjoy nature, share stories, and make memories with the people he loved. Those who knew him will remember his laughter, his generosity, and the way he could make people feel welcome.

One of the most meaningful parts of Kenny's life was the time he dedicated to helping others. As a big brother in Narcotics Anonymous, he gave his time, experience, strength, and hope to people who were working to change their lives. He was there to listen, encourage, and remind others that they were never alone. His willingness to help others and share his own experience touched many lives and made a lasting difference in his community. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all."
