Lorraine Nicholson, age 89, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

She was beloved wife of the late Roscoe C. Nicholson, Daughter of the late Sol and Iva House Abraham, and sister of the late George "Buddy" R. Abraham.

Lorraine was the loving mother of Susan Lee Nicholson and Russell Clay Nicholson, and caring sister to Carolyn A. Halliburton. She is survived by her niece Anne Stewart, and nephews; John Halliburton, Cole Halliburton, and Ben Marchman, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

A native of Indianola Mississippi and a resident of Slidell for the last 55 years. Lorraine was a fun loving, and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and playing games with friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.

Visitation on Tuesday after 1:00 P.M. until funeral time.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
