Louis Anthony Delhom, 91, a former resident of Slidell, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Louis was born June 13, 1933, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Martial and Ruby Delhom.

He was a graduate of Tulane University and received a Masters Degree from L.S.U.

In 1966 he married Sharon Ellis in New Orleans.  In 1975 the family moved to Slidell.

Louis was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Delhom.

He is survived by two sons, Scott Delhom (Katie), Mark Delhom (Michele); grandchildren, Brian Delhom, Brandon Delhom, Collin Delhom, Evan Delhom, Alyson Shields, Kyle Delhom, Kristen Delhom, Britton Deichmann; great-grandchildren, Beck Delhom, Pierce Delhom, Olive Shields, Henry Delhom.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West Slidell LA 70460 on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in New Orleans.
