Louis I. Ybos III, D.D.S., 69, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana.

Dr. Ybos was born November 7, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Louis Ybos Jr. and Claire Ybos.  He became an Eagle Scout before graduating from Abramson High School in New Orleans. He then graduated from The University of New Orleans and entered the L.S.U. School of Dentistry. In 1980 he married Cindy Shank in Slidell.  In 1985 he opened his Dentist Office in Slidell.

He was a member of the Slidell Rotary Club, and President of the Alabama Implant Study Group.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cindy S. Ybos; two children, Brian Ybos, Gregory Ybos; a brother, David Ybos (Michelle); nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA, on Friday, October 31, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.
