Lucille D. Rozas, age 91, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. Lucille was born on April 5,1932 in Savoy, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Rozas and her parents, Havard and Batille Darbonne Daire.

Lucille was survived by her three children, Peggy Rozas Courville Bridges (Bert), Linda Rozas Smith (Jimmy), Blaine Rozas (Sussie), seven grandchildren; Joshua Stephen Rozas, Sean David Courville, Jerrod Michael Courville, Christopher Joseph Smith, Jessica Alys Smith Baker, Lauren Rachelle Rozas Kelly, and Stephen Branson Rozas. Lucille is also survived by six great grandchildren, Colin Smith, Corey Smith, Logan Michael Courville, Mia McKenzie Courville, Racy Smith, Avery Alys Baker, Violet Sofia Courville, and one great-great grandchild River Smith.

Lucille and her husband were active members of the Lions Club of Lacombe, and VFW where she participated in the Ladies Auxiliary. Lucille loved gardening and really enjoyed being a member of the Lacombe Garden Club. After retiring from helping run her husband's A/C Repair Service, she went on to work at the Lacombe Nursing Center as a cook and moved to activity director, she really enjoyed working there.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 11:00 A.M.

The interment will be held in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Covington, La.

Visitation on Monday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
