Malachi Herbert Dvornak, age 29, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on August 16, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 12, 1996, and grew up in Slidell, where he attended St. Paul's School in Covington, Louisiana.

Malachi will be remembered as a generous, charismatic young man whose energy and warmth touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a passion for cooking, skateboarding, motorsports, paintball, and spending time with family and friends.  He brought joy and laughter to those around him. His kindness and uplifting spirit left a lasting impression that will be deeply missed.

Malachi is survived by his beloved children, Noah and Adrian Dvornak of West Monroe, LA; his parents, Michael J. Dvornak of Houston, TX, and Bethany Acosta Dvornak of Slidell, LA; his brother, Michael S. Dvornak of Slidell, LA; and his sisters, Jaime Dvornak-Mackey of Lacombe, LA, and Jordan Dvornak-Freeman of Brookshire, TX. He was preceded in death by loving relatives and friends who welcomed him home with open arms.

A memorial gathering to honor Malachi's life will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Boulevard West, Slidell, LA 70460 on Tuesday August 26, 2025, between 1 and 3 p.m. with internment to follow.

Malachi's life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of bringing people together. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his children, family, and many friends.
