Margaret Rose Leroy Griffin, 79, of Slidell, LA passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Margaret was born December 21,1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Henry Paul Leroy Jr. and Rose Marie Falco Leroy. She lived in Huntsville, Alabama; New Orleans, Louisiana; Pearlington, Mississippi; and has been a resident of Slidell, Louisiana since 1985. She earned a bachelor's degree from Tulane University and was long time employee of The Home Depot.

Margaret was a loving and kind person who loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Heny Paul Leroy Jr. and Rose Marie Falco Leroy; and her son, Gary Thomas Jackson.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Dillon and Terry Jackson; her grandchildren, Kevin Corr, Jr., Briggs Eschette Jr, Erin Jackson and Nicolas Jackson; and daughter in law, Elizabeth O. Jackson.

Visitation will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, LA on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm.
