Mark Alan Kurucar, age 63, of Lacombe, Louisiana, entered God's Grand Band Stand on Thursday, June 13, 2024, after a lengthy battle with his health.

Mark was born to the late Robert Joseph Kurucar and Jacqueline Kurucar on July 19, 1960, in Cape May, New Jersey. Mark was a lifelong exceptionally talented musician, song writer/vocalist, who could play drums, guitar, bass, keys and sing with the best. He entertained locally for over 40 years playing thousands of shows inspiring and teaching others along the way. Mark was a resident of Lacombe, Louisiana, where he worked for Feather and Fin Ranch and coached little league baseball. Mark was one of a kind, who's presence in a room could not go unnoticed, he kept everyone laughing with his quick-witted remarks, and his outgoing, eccentric, larger than life personality.

Mark joins his parents, Robert Joseph Kurucar and Jacqueline Kurucar. He is survived by his son, Chaise Kurucar (Danielle, spouse), grandchildren Riley Kurucar and Katie Kurucar. His Daughter Skye Fontenot (Joey, spouse) grandchildren, Porsha Falcone, Fallon Falcone, Marigny Fontenot, and Willow Fontenot. He is also survived by his long-time companion and soul mate Tammi Dean (Sean Dean, son), his Brother Paul Kurucar (Rochell, spouse), and the mother of his children and former spouse, Natalie McCabe (Brandy Warden, stepdaughter).

The family would like to thank the Ochsner Health Team, for giving him a second chance at life and everyone who has enjoyed his music through the years. In memory of Mark, ALWAYS PLAY YOUR MUSIC LOUD, TURN IT UP TO 10!

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Village Church-Lutheran, 29180 Highway 190, Lacombe, LA. 70445 on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.
