On February 28th, under a cloudless sky and surrounded by family, Mark William West passed away peacefully at 67.

He is remembered by his four children, Beth, Will, Katie, and Ben; his five grandsons; his sisters, Marie and Pam; his nieces, nephews, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Alden, and his brother Logan.

Mark was intelligent, quick-witted, and deeply generous. He had a way of making people laugh, sharing wisdom when it was needed, and creating memorable moments for those he loved.

We, along with our mother, Jo, wish to thank his twin sister Marie and her husband Keith for their devotion to Dad. He was wonderful in so many ways, but when his stubbornness bested the rest of us, only Marie could move him. We will always be grateful for both of you.

Per his wishes, no formal services will be held. We encourage everyone to celebrate his life however they see fit—preferably with a great story.
