Marsha O. Wiggins, 78, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Slidell.  She was born September 6, 1944, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Lee and Stella Owens. Mrs Wiggins graduated from Istrouma High in 1962.  Soon after she married Larry G. Wiggins in 1963 and in 1968 the couple moved to Slidell.  Marsha was a founding member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. She was employed by Dr. Kendrick as well as Grace Memorial Early Learning Center.  Marsha enjoyed trips to the casino, watching the Saints and Tigers play, spending time with her grandkids, and playing card games and dominos with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wiggins; a son, Randy Wiggins; granddaughter, Brooke Wiggins and a brother, Allen Owens.

She is survived by a son Jeffrey Wiggins (Amy); four grandchildren, Brandt Wiggins, Cole Wiggins, Lindsey Hecht, Courtney Walker, one great grandchild Addison;  a brother, Daryl Owens;  and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Visitation will begin at 9:30am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

A Private Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Grace Memorial Baptist Church or a charity of choice,
