Maureen P. Conaway, 83, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Slidell.

Maureen was born July 3, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Peter Alexander Patureau and Elvire Roussell Patureau. In 1958, she married Carlton Conaway Jr. in New Orleans.  In 1979 the couple moved to Slidell.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Carlton Conaway Jr.; four children,Carlton Conaway III (Sharon), Wayne Alexander Conaway (Virginia), Tess Ball, Kim Relan (Anthony); six grandchildren, Chrissie Hogan, Kellie Daigle, Nicholas Conaway, James Ball, John Ball, Summer Conaway; eleven great-grandchildren, Ethan Hogan, Justin Hogan, Camron Hogan, Aaren Hogan, Brandon Hogan, Kaden Hogan, Drew Daigle, Grace Conaway, Gage Conaway.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by Funeral Services at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
