Melba A. Williamson, 77, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Slidell.

Melba was born July 17, 1947, in Monnette, Arkansas, to Melvin and Sammie Puckett.

In 1965 she married Gerald Williamson in Danville, Illinois. In 1992 she moved to Slidell from Veedersburg, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew James Williamson.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerald Williamson; two children, Monika Williamson, Jacob Williamson (Alessandra); four grandchildren, Jesse Sinopoli, Mellie Williamson, Meir Williamson, Addie Williamson; sister, Cheryl Montgomery; brother, Rick Puckett; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 2:00pm, followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00pm.
