Dr. Miguel Angel Culasso passed away on December 1, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana, after an illness. He was 78 years old.

Born on February 19, 1947, in Esperanza, Argentina, Dr. Culasso devoted his life to the service of others through medicine. In 1979, he began practicing as a family physician in the Slidell area, where he became a trusted and steadfast presence in the community for over four decades. His unwavering commitment to his patients and his profession was evident in every aspect of his work—he never wished to retire and found daily joy in caring for those who relied on him. He enjoyed hosting friends in his legendary "asados".

Dr. Culasso's perseverance and dedication left a lasting impact not only on the lives of his patients but also on those who had the privilege of knowing him personally. His legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and tireless service.

He is deeply mourned by his loving wife of 47 years, Angie K. Culasso; his son, Miguel Antonio Culasso and daughter-in-law Karen Culasso; his daughter, Lisa Culasso and son-in-law Hernan Cifre; and his cherished grandchildren, Chloe (7) and Leo (3). He was preceded in death by his beloved son Daniel Culasso and by his parents, Antonio and Emilia Culasso.

Dr. Culasso will be remembered with profound respect and affection by all whose lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire dedication and kindness in others.
