Miquel " Mickey " Joseph Liner, age 79, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away at his home in Slidell, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Miquel was born on Wednesday, October 18, 1944, in New Orleans, Lousiana, to Alces Joseph Liner and Ann Plaisance Liner.  He was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Miquel was preceded in death by his parents, Alces and Ann Liner; brothers, Edward Liner, Russell Liner, Terry Liner, Alces Liner Jr., Johnathan Liner; and a sister, Isabel Liner.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Freda Liner; a son, Mark Liner  daughters, Michelle McNair, Sonya Sigler (Jeff), Jeanne Armond (Terry), Annette " Nettie "  Liner Karcher (David); two sisters, Emily Vierhout, Cynthia Crescioni; seven grandchildren, Tristen Liner, Kayla Liner, Mariah Skinner, Joseph Wallace, Laurell Earle, Summer Armond, Saige Vedrenne; four great-grandchildren, Eli Skinner, Liam Skinner, Isabelle Skinner, and Aiden Wallace.

Memorial Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460 on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00am.
