Miranda Joyce Bison Hungerford, 64, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, in Slidell.

Miranda was born May 20, 1960, in Beaumont, Texas.  Miranda grew up in Zwolle, Louisiana, before moving to Chalmette in the mid 1970s.  In 1986 she moved to Slidell.

Miranda was a bridge operator for the state of Louisiana.

She is survived by one son, Justin Hungerford; one grandson, Barrett Hungerford; companion, Steve Gillam; two sisters, Linda Szymczak, Janet Vaughn; and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at Honaker Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
