Obituary

Mitzi Gayle Huffman, 65, a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, was met at the Heavenly gates by her savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, May 30, 2022.

There she saw her son Matthew Vincent Huffman and her brother Christopher Henderson.

Mitzi was born in Rogers, Arkansas, on December 5, 1956, to Elmer Henderson and Betty Miller Parrish(deceased).

Mitzi leaves behind her love for Uncle Don Miller, and his wife Shirley, of Lowell, Arkansas; a sister, Gina Lynn Ross of Spring, Texas; nephew, Rory Henderson(Ashley) of Durham, North Carolina; niece, Katie Henderson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and a sister-in-law,  Pamela Henderson of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Mitzi was a 27 year associate of Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana and enjoyed her longevity there making many good friends. Her health brought early retirement.

Mitzi's passion was her home, her gardens and time with her companion. She also enjoyed Ocean Cruises, Camping, Basketball, Golf and being outdoors.  Being from Arkansas, she was a devoted Razorback Hogs Fan "Woo Pig Sooie!".

Mitzi said goodbye to the love of her life of seventeen years, Clayton Alan Stieffel Sr; his son, Clayton Alan Stieffel Jr.;  Mom-in-law, Merle Stieffel Brennan; her extended family,  Herb Stieffel( Kathy)  of Bay St Louis, Mississippi;  Rochelle Goodick(Randy) of Nashville, Tennessee; and  Leslie Jade Caldwell(Ray) of Henagar, Alabama.

We find our peace knowing that she is healed and is singing with the angels.

"Girl, you left behind many broken hearts, our love continues".
