Nicholas E. "Nickey" Moore Sr., 67, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Slidell.

Nickey was born January 1, 1957, in Slidell, Louisiana, to Leon and Violet Moore.

In September of 2005 he met Angel M. Landry and the two were later married in October of 2008.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Moore Jr., and Patrick Moore.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Angel Moore; man's best friend, Sissy; three sons, Nicholas E. Moore Jr. (Tammy), Christopher L. Moore, Justin Drain (Rachel); two brothers, Mike Moore (Julie), Johnny Moore (Paula); seven grandchildren, Cierra Moore, Kris Rice, Jourdyn Magee, Olivia Rice, Taylor Rice, Mackenzie Buller, Easton Drain; seven great-grandchildren, Jhordan Moore, Kendall Rice, Logan Rice, Colt Rice, Khloe Magee, Halen Heiss, Stevie Taylor; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 9th, 2024, from 2:00pm-6:00pm, at The Slidell Lions Club, 356 Cleveland Ave, Slidell, La 70458.
