Noel Gordon Anderson, age 67, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Born on December 18, 1957, Noel was known for his cheerful spirit and deep love for his family and music. His favorite bands were The Eagles and Earth, Wind, and Fire, which mirrored his vibrant and soulful personality.
Noel proudly served in the United States Navy for 12 years, dedicating a significant part of his life to his country. Outside of his military service, he was passionate about the arts, particularly painting still life portraits, which allowed him to express his artistic side and bring beauty into the lives of others.

He was predeceased by his parents, Earl "Andy" Anderson and Margaret Anderson, and his siblings, Dianne Canaan, Sharron Lanham Heyd, Mary Ann Wilde, and Earl "Sonny" Anderson. Noel's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his nephews, Chris Canaan, Charlie Canaan, Sterling Wilde, Zeb Anderson, Sean Anderson, and cousins, Deborah Bennen and Craig Bennen.

Noel's life was a testament to his joyful nature and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Graveside Service at The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd., Slidell, LA. 70460 on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 A.M.
