Norma Kessner Gabriel, 83, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, in Slidell, Louisiana.

Norma was born on July 24, 1939, in New Orleans, to Norman and Antoinette Kessner.

In December of 1954, she married Michel M.Gabriel III in New Orleans.  In 1967, they moved to Slidell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michel M. Gabriel III; and a brother, Norman Kessner.

She is survived by two children, Debra "Debbie" Berryhill (Robert), Michael "Mike" Gabriel (Paige); four grandchildren, Kristen Jessie, Kimberly Bourque, Cameron Gabriel, Landon Gabriel; three great-grandchildren, Colin Berryhill, Mariah Smith, Rylee Bourque; two great-great-grandchildren, Lila Berryhill, Beckham Berryhill; two sisters, Ellen Smith, Joyce Dakin; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Friday, August 26, 2022.  Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by services at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
