Norma was born in Havana, Cuba on February 23, 1953. While in Cuba she was a model and child actress and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was 14 years old in 1967, where she attended Annunciation High School. She loved to share her fondest memories of her time in Cuba; she loved to cook and made sure that everyone in her family was taken care of. Her heart was always one of a kind. She was a devoted Catholic who loved hummingbirds, butterflies and her beloved dog lilly. She loved her records, to read, and to watch her novelas to pass the time. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly, but our memories with her will live on forever.
