Pansy Lou "Granny" Bradley Nelson, age 91, of Slidell, LA, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
She was born on July 23, 1931, in Augusta, Kansas to the late Jesse and Irene Bradley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, longtime companion Louis Cornibe, Jack Garrison, and Bill Nelson.

Pansy is survived by her only child Deblyn Jackson (Bert Castaneda), six grandchildren; Keith Bonnet Jr., Bruce Jackson Jr., Brandon Jackson (Melissa), Jessica Bode (Timothy), Courtney Jackson (Ritchie Harris), and Blake Jackson (Kristin), nine great-grandchildren; Brandon Jackson Jr, Skylar Bode, Colton Harris, Randy/ Kaylee/ Kaitlyn Caire, Kelsey/Kyleigh Harris and Keegan Bode. She is also survived by her sisters Joyce Fischer, Pat Eschelman, and Diana Bradley, as well as her brother Ron Bradley.

There are many extended family members from the Bradley, Garrison, Nelson, and Cornibe families who were near and dear to her heart. Those she adopted along the way are and will forever be considered family.

She was born and raised in Augusta, KS, but considered herself to be a transplanted "Coon Ass" after moving to Louisiana in 1960. She was employed by Boeing both in Wichita, KS and New Orleans, LA., as well as Stennis Space Center, but retired from St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office in the early 2000's.

She loved life, but most of all she loved her family. She also enjoyed Football, parades, camping, water skiing, traveling, shows, needle point, felt stocking kits, crafts, and gathering of all kinds.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10:00 A.M.

Interment to follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
