Patricia K. Smith, 78, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Pensacola, Florida. Pat was a longtime resident of both Pearl River and Slidell.

Pat was born December 28, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Daniel and Geraldine Klug. In 1966, Pat met and married David A Smith. In the following years they lived in San Diego, California and Jacksonville, North Carolina during David's time in the Marine Corps, later returning to Dayton, Ohio where their two children were born.

In 1979 the Smith's moved to Slidell, Louisiana. Pat was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Slidell and a longtime member of the bell choir. Among those who knew her well, Pat was famous for her love of animals and she adopted many during her lifetime. Married to the love of her life for 55 years, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Smith. Pat was a wonderful and loving mother to her two children, Theodore Smith and Brandy Smith Blackwell (Trey), as well as the beloved grandmother to her five grandchildren, Cort, Connor, Victoria, Wesley, and Annabeth Blackwell.

on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.
