Patricia Ann Johnson Luther, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on December 29, 1931, in Saint Augustine, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Marie Johnson.

Patricia was a devoted mother to Billy Luther (Jennifer), Ricky Luther, and Gayle Schoonover (Dan). She was a cherished grandmother to Denise Robertson, Stacy Davis, Kori Luther (Chris), Wayne Schoonover (Cheyenne), and Cody Schoonover. Her great-grandchildren, Jessica Monroe (Brian), Kylie and Payton Robertson, Brittany Milla (Jose), Blake Davis, McKenzie Johnson (Jordan), Taylor and Chaise Wheeler, Katelyn, Emory and Everlee Schoonover, and Aiden Brooks. Also, great-great-grandchildren Kennedy and soon-to-be-baby Luca Milla, Weston and Jay Johnson, and Sadie Dorion, who all brought her immense joy and pride.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Luther, her brothers, Ralph Jr., and Richard Johnson, her sisters Marie Daniel, Grace Hursey, and Fran Faciane and her "daughter" Linda Panks Luther. Survived by her brothers Larry and Danny Johnson and her sister Diane Kusisto. Patricia was a pillar of strength for her family and friends who touched the lives of so many with her kindness, love, and nurturing spirit. She was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear, always there to babysit, play pretend, and teach nursery rhymes and the ABC's. She had a special way of making learning fun and instilling a love for knowledge and imagination.  Her warm embrace and gentle words of encouragement will forever be cherished by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten even the darkest of days. Her love knew no bounds, and she made sure to show it to everyone she met. She was known for ending all her phone calls and visits with several, "I love yous" to make sure you knew it.  Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she found solace in saying the rosary.

Patricia lived a long and fulfilling life, always putting the needs of others before her own. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.

Visitation at the funeral home on Friday after 1:00 P.M. until funeral time.

A private burial will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
