In loving memory of our beloved Patricia Ann Singletary, age 83 years, of Slidell, LA we are saddened to announce she was called home to the Lord on Friday, September 8, 2023, surrounded by her family. Patricia is the beloved wife and best friend of Robert "Moss" Singletary.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Treadway and Myrtle Nielsen Treadway, brothers, Bennett Treadway, Irvin Treadway, Roy Treadway, and Sylvester Treadway Jr, and sisters, Bernadette T. Courtney, Eva Chute, Joyce Waldrop, and Mary Treadway, and stepson Wayne Singletary.

Mother of John G. Tyler Jr. and Todd J. Tyler and stepmother to Jayson Singletary. She is also survived by grandchildren, Brittany Tyler, Tiffany Tyler, John "JT" Tyler III, Jamie Tyler, Todd "TJ" Tyler Jr., Jarrett Tyler, Johnathon Derek Singletary, Kolbi Tyler, Jackson Singletary, and Sawyer Singletary. Great grandchildren, Seth Pierre, Dalton Pierre, Justin Tyler, Peyton Ring, Makailah Ring, Tyler Ring, Ryder Howard, Noah Howard, Lexi Howard, Hannah Howard, Braydon Howard, Brody Tyler, Brennan Tyler, Joseph Stalter, Lane Tyler, and Rhett Tyler; and great-great grandchild, Marilyn Jane Pierre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Patricia was a native of Plaquemines Parish, LA, but a lifelong resident of Slidell, LA. She was retired from National Foods of Slidell. While at National, she also served as a union representative, who fought for the rights of other workers. She was the heart and soul of the family. She was a quiet and private person; however, she enjoyed her visits with family. She was fearless and independent, yet loved deeply and was incredibly compassionate and forgiving to all. She welcomed everyone with open arms and would never turn anyone away in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Visitation from 12PM until funeral time at 2:00pm.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
