Patricia "Pat" Torrance, 82, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

Pat was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lawrence and Reba Hatfield. She grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers High School. In 1965 she married John Torrance in Eureka, Kansas, They lived in Muskogee, Oklahoma; Ottumwa, Iowa; and in 1979, the couple moved to Slidell.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Cherry Smith.

She is survived by her husband, John Torrance; four children: Michelle Denton (Kevin), Charlene Lynn Kirby, Teddy Torrance, Rebecca Torrance; six grandchildren: John Denton (Trish), Lane Denton, Noah Denton, Faith Denton, Jacob Waller, Sarah Waller; three great-grandchildren: Hunter Denton, Lucus Denton, and Ella Bacon.

Pat was active in Beta Sigma Phi for her whole adult life. She was chosen Woman Of The Year several times and received Order Of The Rose.  Pat spent many years working as an associate for Sears in many different duties.

Memorial  Services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Northside Baptist Church 61141 Hwy 1091 (Robert Blvd), in Slidell, Louisiana.
