Paul Jerald "Jerry" Rhodes, of Slidell, LA, passed into the loving arms of our Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Paul, known to his family and friends as "Jerry" was born on March 20, 1947, in Buffalo, New York. He graduated from Sweet Home High School in June of 1965. He then studied Pharmacy at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated with his wife Ruth, with a Pharmacy degree in June of 1970. He later obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy while working in Louisiana. Paul's retail pharmacy career lasted 37 years mainly in Slidell, Louisiana. He worked for Walgreens, K&B, Rite-Aid, and Wal-Mart.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and model trains. He was a member of the North Buffalo Church of Christ and the Slidell Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon for many years.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. Rhodes, and Marylee F. Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Ann Rhodes; his sons, Mark Edward Rhodes (Melissa), Dale William Rhodes (Lindsey); and his grandchildren, Trooper and Evelyn. He is also survived by his brother Daniel Morris Rhodes (Kathy).

A private Graveside Service will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, Louisiana.
