Paul Benedict Rohlinger, age 63, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Son of the late Otto Rohlinger and Kathryn Malone Rohlinger. Brother of Mark Rohlinger (Penny), Ann Barry (Augie), Leo Rohlinger (Lisa), Neil Rohlinger (Shannon). Also survived by four nieces and nephews, Sydney Rohlinger, Jakob Rohlinger, Abigail Rohlinger, and Luke Rohlinger.

A native of Denver, Co. and a longtime resident of Slidell. He was a Workforce Specialist with the La. Workforce Commission, where he had just retired after 39 years. Paul loved his work because he helped people find a new career path. He was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for 50 years and loved playing in the church softball league. He was an avid member of the Louisiana Right To Life organization. Paul graduated from L.S.U. in 1983 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and he loved playing trivia and drinking a beer at the Deutches Haus.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 12:00 O'clock Noon.

Visitation at the church on Friday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital, preferred, in lieu of flowers.
