Peggy Joyce Parker, 87, a native of Perry County, Mississippi, and a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Slidell.

Peggy was born July 30, 1935, in Perry County, Mississippi, to Kerney Frank Solomon and Verna D. Solomon.  She is survived by a son, Hubert Allen Parker; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert E. Parker; a son, Glenis Parker; three brothers, Dean Solomon, Dewitt Solomon, Eugene Deakle; and a sister, Doris Hungerford.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West Slidell LA 70460.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 10:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
