Ralph Thomas Lally Jr., 93, of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Carriere, Mississippi.

Ralph was born May 4, 1931, in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served in the Korean War on the Isle of Guam. Upon leaving the Navy, he earned an engineering degree from LSU. After retiring from Middle South Services (now Entergy) as Head of Nuclear Activities, he started his own consulting company, RTL Enterprises.

More important than his successful career, though, was his wife and family.  He was often found in the kitchen chopping vegetables and cooking. His greatest joy was having his children and grandchildren around the house eating and having fun.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Jackie Lally, who passed away in 2023, on her birthday, and a son, Steven Lally Sr.

He is survived by three daughters, Beth Dove (Jayce), Debra Lott (Dan), and Cynthia LeBlanc (Dale); children they were blessed to adopt later in life, Jackie Mora (Gabino) and Daryl Lally; a daughter-in-law, Helen Lally; ten grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren, with another due in January.

Funeral services, with Military Honors, will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, Louisiana 70460, on Friday, November 8, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
