Raymond S. Adams Jr., 37, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in Denham Springs, Lousiana.

Raymond was born October 27, 1987, in Houma, Louisiana, to Patricia and Raymond Adams. In 1990 the family moved to Slidell. He was a tug boat captain on the Mississippi River.

Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Yates Adams; and a sister, Rae Lynn Adams.

He is survived by his father, Raymond Adams; four children, Robert Adams, Isabella Adams, Raymond Adams III, Ayden Adams; nephew, Roy Gaines; niece, LaSandra Gaines; and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA, 70460, on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Haaswood Cemetery.
