Raymond "Ray" C. Blady Sr., 87, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in Slidell.

Ray was born October 26, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Anthony and Rose Blady.  In 1955 he married Laura Sanzone in New Orleans.  In 1974, the couple moved to Slidell.

Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Laura; a son, Raymond Blady Jr.; brothers, Anthony Blady Jr., Louis Blady; sisters, Audrey Bonnet, Emelda Newman, and Anna Steinkamp.

He is survived by two children, Kathy Duhe (Richie), Randy Blady (Christina); nine grandchildren, Adam Blady, Aaron Blady, Rayann Blady, Kari Duhe, Rachael Duhe, Richard Duhe III, Sarah Blady, Andrew Perronne, Matthew Perronne; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Jeff Blady; sister, Mildred Eschete; and other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 12:00pm.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
