Rebecca Ann Sumrall Baggott a long time resident of Jefferson Parish before moving to Slidell, La in 2009, passed away on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the age of 86.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, who cherished her family.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joseph A. Baggott. She was the mother of Dennis A. Baggott (Sandra). Grandmother of Joseph B. Baggott (Tiffany) and Dennis A. Baggott Jr. (Courtney). Great grandmother of Easton, Liam, Tatum Baggott, and Demi, Kaylinn, Ryan, and Mason Sanchez.

Daughter of the late James P. and Laura Stevens Sumrall. Sister of Francis S. McCord, Wanda S. Keene, Charles Sumrall, and late James C. Sumrall, Marie S. Wellman, Anita S. Barger, and Robert Sumrall.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. W, Slidell, LA 70460. The visitation will be from 11am until 1pm with a funeral service to follow.
